What is a temporary email?+
A temporary email is a short-lived email address you can use instead of your real one. It lets you receive emails — including verification codes — without giving away your personal address or creating an account.
How long does my temporary email last?+
Tempora shows a 10-minute session timer by default. You can extend it by 10 minutes at a time, generate a new address, or delete the current one whenever you like. The timer is a product session indicator, not a hard expiry enforced by the email provider.
Are temporary emails anonymous?+
Tempora minimizes personal data: no signup, no tracking of your real identity, and mailbox content is not permanently stored in our database. We don't claim the service is fully anonymous or untraceable — the underlying email infrastructure and your network can still be observable.
